Representing Curves at Main Street

Fresh off our very recent recognition by the Gold Coast Fashion Project (GCFP) as the Most Wearable Brand for 2022, Pear Collections has been invited to the Main Beach Street Festival's Urban Runway! How exciting is that?

We are honoured to be hand-picked by the GCFP to showcase Pear Collections’ capsule collection during the event. This invitation shows that our brand is starting to make waves in the fashion industry and our community.

The event will take place on Tedder Avenue, Main Beach, QLD. The event kicks off at 4:00 pm and runs until 8:00 pm, Saturday, the 3rd of September 2022. This fun-filled and momentous event is FREE and open to the public.

Presented by Division 10 CR Darren Taylor of the City of Gold Coast, it is a unique opportunity to bring together the local community, businesses, and residents for a great Tedder Avenue celebration.

Come and enjoy live music to be performed by the Suits & Boots, The Accidents, Dugald Allen, and Tanisha. DJs Jaki J and Jazz will also be there with their 70s, 80s, and 90s mass karaoke singalong sets.

And that’s not all! This family-friendly event will also feature vintage cars, market stalls, flowers, local restaurant specials, alongside food trucks, and of course, FASHION! Main Beach Street Festival organisers are excited (and so are we) to be teaming up with GCFP to help some incredible local fashion boutiques in Main Beach with an Urban Fashion Show.

This is a free local Gold Coast community street celebration you should not miss.

Being invited to this year’s Main Beach Street Festival's Urban Runway event gives us the opportunity to showcase our capsule collection once more.

Being nominated was a big honour in itself, and never in our wildest dreams did we think we would win. But we did, and we are more than ecstatic about it. More importantly, it was also a wonderful venue to communicate our message in hopes of positively impacting more women to #lovingtheircurves.

Experience spectacular fashion as a portion of Main Beach’s Tedder Avenue gets transformed into a long catwalk as part of the event’s Urban Runway.

Not only will you see Pear Collections’ capsule collection at the event, but you will also see fabulous collections from local fashion boutiques that are located within Main Beach. If you want to support the event, the best way is to support local businesses.
