We’re stepping back onto the runway — and we’re bringing something truly special with us.
This May, Pear Collections proudly returns to The Flower Show at the Queensland Arts and Fashion Festival (QAFF) — an event that celebrates fashion, art, and storytelling in its most potent form. And this year, we’re not just walking. We’re evolving.
For the first time since 2020, we’ll be unveiling brand-new additions to our Capsule Collection, designed to celebrate curves, confidence, and individuality. We’ll also be participating in QAFF’s Editorial Exercise. This creative collaboration brings together stylists, photographers, and designers to produce editorial-quality fashion stories for the Queensland Arts & Fashion Magazine.
But for us, showing up at QAFF is about more than just new styles or great photos. It’s about continuing the mission that started it all: creating clothing that truly sees women for who they are — and helping them see themselves in a new light, too.
Because we’ve all had that moment.
You’re scrolling one night, not expecting to find anything. Most of the time, shopping feels like trying to fit into someone else’s idea of what looks good. You’ve been told what you should wear. What’s “flattering”? What to avoid. And over time, it starts to feel like none of it was made for you.
But then you find Pear Collections. The colours feel bolder. The fits feel liberating. And for once, it actually feels like it’s made for you. You try something new. Something that reflects who you are — not who you’ve been told to be. And when you see yourself in it? You feel seen. Comfortable. Confident.
That’s the feeling we’ll be bringing to the runway this year — and we can’t wait to share it with you.
The Flower Show – More Than a Runway
Taking place the night before Mother’s Day, The Flower Show is not just a fashion event — it’s a heartfelt celebration of the people who shape us, particularly the mothers, matriarchs, and maternal figures in our lives. Held on Saturday, 10 May at the Robina Auditorium, the show combines fashion, art, and storytelling into a powerful, emotionally resonant evening.
Each model who walks the runway helps bring this tribute to life, sharing a piece of their own story through movement, confidence, and style. And this year, Pear Collections is proud to be part of that expression — showcasing our signature silhouettes along with never-before-seen designs that represent the next chapter for our brand.
For the first time in five years, we’ll be expanding our Capsule Collection with fresh pieces that continue our mission of celebrating curves and timeless style. These new designs were created with intention — blending our signature clean lines and flattering fits with a touch of seasonal beauty and softness, inspired by the blooming energy of The Flower Show itself.
And while the show is a space for creativity, it’s also one of community and care. QAFF proudly partners with Mind Your Fashion, a not-for-profit mental health organisation supporting individuals in the fashion and creative industries. Every ticket purchased helps fund mental health workshops and resources — reminding us that behind the glamour are real people with real challenges, and we all need tools to thrive.
Tickets to The Flower Show are on sale now via QAFF here.
In the lead-up to the show, we’ll be capturing behind-the-scenes moments from our fittings at Broadbeach Cultural Centre on April 13th. It’s an exciting day when our team gets their first glimpse at the looks hitting the runway, and where final adjustments are made to ensure every piece moves beautifully, comfortably, and confidently on our models.
While the fittings aren’t open to the public, we’ll be sharing sneak peeks and teasers on Instagram, giving our community a taste of what’s to come. It’s one of our favourite parts of the process — seeing our designs come to life on the bodies they were made for, in an environment filled with energy, encouragement, and excitement.
As part of our involvement in QAFF, Pear Collections will also participate in the QAFF Editorial Exercise, taking place on 24–25 May 2025. This unique opportunity brings together photographers, stylists, models, and makeup artists to produce editorial-quality images that reflect each brand’s creative vision.
We’ll be paired with a talented editorial team who will collaborate with us to create a concept that showcases the essence of Pear Collections — elegant, empowering, and effortlessly wearable fashion designed for women of all shapes and sizes.
These images will be featured in Issue 02 of the Queensland Arts & Fashion Magazine and used across QAFF’s promotional channels. More than just a photoshoot, this exercise is a chance to connect with the wider creative industry, inspire future collaborations, and see our designs reimagined through another artistic lens.

Why Fashion Shows Still Matter to Us
If you’ve followed our journey, you know that runway shows have always held a special place in our brand story. Pear Collections was born out of a desire to create beautiful, high-quality fashion for curvier bodies — and to make those bodies visible in all the places fashion belongs, including the runway.
Our founder, our team, and our community know what it feels like to be overlooked or underrepresented in fashion. That’s why we continue to show up — boldly, intentionally, and proudly — on stages like QAFF and The Flower Show. Because representation isn’t a trend. It’s a commitment.
Whether it’s your first Pear piece or you’ve been walking with us since day one, this show is for you. It’s a celebration of style, but more importantly, it’s a celebration of you — your body, your journey, and your presence in this space.
This May, come and experience a night where fashion meets storytelling, where curves walk confidently, and where new chapters begin. With the debut of new styles, a stunning editorial shoot on the horizon, and a deeper message at the heart of it all — QAFF 2025 will be a season of growth, creativity, and connection.
We’re honoured to be part of it. And we’d love for you to be part of it too.
