An electrifying singer, songwriter, and creative force, AZURE is known for her evocative, theatrical performances that blend raw emotion with unapologetic artistry. But beyond the stage, AZURE is a survivor, an advocate, and a powerful voice for those reclaiming their stories after adversity.

Azure’s Aviary was a one-night-only immersive experience that took place at Soultrap Bar in Surry Hills on July 24th at 7 PM sharp. This wasn’t your average gig; it was an intimate celebration of vulnerability, resilience and reclamation.

The centrepiece of the evening? The live debut of AZURE’s new single “Sleep Through Dinner,” a powerful track born from her journey through anorexia. It’s about survival, but not the kind people applaud; this is survival that’s quiet, messy, and unfiltered. This is about coming home to your body and finding safety there again.

The event was curated with love and intention. From chaotic camp-style photo ops to curated cocktails, gifts from aligned sponsors and offerings from mental health experts, Azure’s Aviary was a sanctuary where expression and healing collide. It was for the dreamers, the survivors, and anyone learning to feel safe in their skin again.

So, of course, when AZURE reached out to Pear Collections, we said yes in a heartbeat.

A Celebration of Curves, Creativity and Coming Home to Yourself

Before the music started and the crowd settled, there was a specific energy that hung in the air. It’s not loud or dramatic. It’s quiet. Intentional. The kind of energy you feel when people gather for something that matters, not just to be entertained, but to be part of something honest.

There was no forced glamour. No need to perform. Just real people showing up as they are, maybe for the first time in a long time, ready to be seen and heard.
